TEVA-CELL GROUP is focused on the collection and storage
of ADULT stem cells derived from cord blood,
peripheral blood, bone marrow and fat. The Group has
never been, and does not intend to become, involved
in the storage or expansion of embryonic stem cells. |

After the
Delivery
Procedure for Transfer of
Umbilical Blood Sampling Kit from Delivery Room
Nurse to Escort and to Shipping Company
-
After the blood has been sampled, the midwife
will ensure that the sampling bag tube is
double-knotted and that the needle has been cut.

The midwife will overturn the bag several times
to enable the blood to mix well with the
anti-coagulation substance in the bag.

The midwife will place the identification label,
included in the kit, on the bag and fill in the
mother’s name (in English), the date and hour of
the delivery, and the mother’s identification
number.

The midwife will wrap the bag with the tissue,
that is
included in the kit, and place it in the safety
bag, also included in the kit.

The midwife will place an additional
identification label on the safety bag.
-
The midwife will transfer the kit to the escort.
-
The escort will put the Client's detail Cord Blood
Collection form, that is included in the kit
into the collection kit, after filling in the
information on both sides, in English, and will
then close the kit with the provided stickers.

The escort will call World
Courier
Service center at 1-800 number that appeeare on the collection
box to coordinate the shipping of the sample to
the lab.

The escort will provide World Courier Service
Center with the job number that appears on the box for
identification and all information requested i.e.,
mobile
number while in the hospital, hospital name
and address
.

The shipping company will arrive at the hospital
to collect the sample.

Until it is collected by the shipping company,
the sample will be kept at room
temperature next to the mother’s bed.

The shipping company will deliver the sample to
the company’s laboratories in Israel within
24-48 hours.

We will send you the hospital conformation for
processing and storage within 3-4 weeks.
Each cord blood sample is tested to confirm the
absence of microbiological contamination.

ask you doctor to refer you.
